NAPO has different committees that are independent of NAPO. These committees are:

Committee Consultation Government (COO)
The COO’s goal is to consult the government on rules and regulations regarding au pairs and host families.

Committee Arbitration (CA)
In such cases where an au pair and / or host family do not agree with the working methods of a NAPO member, they can turn to this committee. The CA will, according to the regulations of NAPO, pass judgement, taking into account that which caused problems between the host family / au pair. The CA will be established in each individual case, and consists of 3 NAPO members. The NAPO member who is involved in the matter cannot be part of that particular CA.
NOTE: the CA does not give any judgement about financial disagreements between the host family / au pair regarding the NAPO member. Arbitration is based on the prevailing regulations of NAPO.

Committee Regulations (CR)
This committee is responsible for the guidelines between the au pair and the host family. They assess new members on their working and completion methods. The CR is responsible for,  amongst others,  the text of the au pair agreement, the declaration of awareness and the regulations and guidelines concerning admission to NAPO. The CR works within the available legal framework and ensures that all regulations and contracts meet ethical norms and values.
